But do you honestly believe that "they" (as you put it, like it is us versus them) do not want to feed their children healthy food? Eating and food choices AND how we spend our money are very personal and complicated issues. I know plenty of educated people in NYC who are overweight and not eating organic GMO free foods. Some of the wealthiest people I know are some of the worst eaters. The south has some of the heaviest people AND most of the country's poverty. I finally found a hummus platter at a mediterranean fast food place. When I asked for whole wheat pita I received a blank stare.
