This six month program will show you how to lead a more balance life and do it with the support and camaraderie of others just like you. During the six month program you will learn to make better food choices, learn how to read labels, learn the steps to easy natural and effective weight loss, how to prepare meals that are healthy, but easy. Also learn to take time for yourself and nurture your soul. Healthy Healing Habits helps you from tummy to soul.

Traditionally, women have not been taught to have good boundaries or to take good care of themselves. Moment to moment, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, they are asked to lend their wisdom, skill, creative energy and good cheer to support the growth and success of their employers, husbands, lovers, children and communities while their own needs are put on hold. Like the Great Mother, they have been assumed to have infinite resources. And because they love life and love people, they have dug deeply to provide for them. But sooner or later, one by one, women are discovering that in order to continue to enjoy life with those they love, they have to learn to make more careful choices to nourish and sustain themselves.
The body is an amazing source of intelligence. It is always there for you, pumping blood, never skipping a heartbeat, digesting whatever food you put in it and maintaining homeostasis. Is this reliable, intelligent bio-computer making a mistake by craving ice cream or a hamburger or chocolate? Are cravings due to lack of will-power or discipline? I'd like to suggest that cravings are not a problem. They are critical pieces of information that tell you what your body needs.
The important thing is to understand why you crave what you crave. During this workshop you will learn the major causes of cravings and some simple ways to eliminate them. We will discuss major common cravings such as chocolate, sweets, coffee, and alcohol and discuss the possible things your are missing nutritionally that could be causing these cravings and give you healthy alternatives.
