LET ME DECIDE: Make GE Labeling the LAW

As the movement to label genetically engineered foods continues to gain support nationwide, we are still being subjected to potential health risks from eating these foods. We have the right to know what we are eating but agribusinesses like Monsanto foods are stripping us of this right. As a part of a democracy we have the power, and the responsibility, to take this right back. We need to continue to educate the public on the importance of labeling GE foods to increase the pressure on our legislatures. The cook-off will showcase the difficulty of avoiding GE foods as well as discuss the importance of labeling GE foods. The event will feature Tammy Ayon, Executive Director of Democratic Party of Broward County and concerned mother, Reverend Gail Tapscott from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ft. Lauderdale, Joseph Chammas, an organic farmer and many more great speakers.I look forward to seeing you there to enjoy some delicious GE Free foods with me and the Food and Water Watch team.
